Summer Deadlight
Hey! Im Summer Deadlight. I have been around the SL fashion world for close to a year now! I’ve seen the growth and changes to the industry and have experienced different aspects of it over the months. Its an exciting world and have gotten a chance to meet and work with so many different people! Before modeling, I was a Kitty DJ working 40-50 hours in various clubs around SL, and then I decided to go for my dream of SL Modeling and entered the Miss SL Tropics 2007 competition presented by Isabella Sampio (Miss L’Oreal 2007) and ASpiRE Modeling and Isle (with original owners Bianca Darling and Trina Noland). It was very exciting as it was my first time on a runway and I won the title, the tiara, and instantly my neko self was picked up by ASpiRE agency and it spiraled me into the fashion world.
Soon after I entered 12 Avatars.com Calendar competition and placed 4th in overall votes out of 624 entries, but the most important thing was that I met alot of people, including Fortunate Szondi, and after that created Runway Kidz, a model support network group. I have gone on to participate in all facets of modeling and show production. I currently model, I still DJ events, fashion shows, and some club work, and I also have taken the steps to work in SL photography and enjoy being a part of the Flickr community.
